NetWare 6.5 builds upon Novell's premier product line, Novell NetWare. With NetWare 6.5, Novell has embraced the Open Source Software movement by incorporating internet standards into NetWare 6.5, which has recently been renamed "Open Enterprise Server" to reflect this. In this tutorial, VTC author Greg Dickinson will cover the basics of administering a NetWare 6.5 network, from installing the server operating system, to administering eDirectory and printing, and supporting LAN and remote users using built-in technologies. Greg Dickinson

Greg Dickinson is a technology professional who has extensive experience with networking technologies in a wide range of industries. He has authored several VTC courses and is a contributing author on several technology titles, including "Special Edition: Using Microsoft Windows 7." Greg currently works in Network Operations for the US subsidiary of an international bank. When not wrestling with complex enterprise networks, Greg enjoys practicing his pilot skills in the skies over his native Birmingham, Alabama.
