FL Studio 8 is no longer the fringe audio workstation that it once was. With version 8, it continues to mature into a true competitor for such applications as Cubase, Sonar, and even Pro Tools. Sam McGuire

Sam McGuire is on the Recording Arts faculty of the University of Colorado at Denver. Sam is also a freelance engineer in the greater Denver area where he has worked on a variety of post production projects including: spots for regional, national, and international broadcast. Sam has composed music for documentaries, independent films and television commercials. Previously, Sam held a position at Appalachian State University where he was part of a team that recorded one of Ladysmith Black Mambazo's albums that reached #1 on the world charts and was nominated for two Grammys.
