Steven Smith

Steven Smith has taught electronic music and audio courses at the collegiate level for over 20 years and is an Apple Certified Trainer in Logic Pro. He composes music and especially enjoys working with dance and theatre productions. He performs locally on sax, flute and keyboards. He also records and edits audio for a wide variety of local projects in the Jacksonville, Florida area. He has worked on synthesizers all the way back to modular Moog systems and finds the endless possibilities for sound exploration and design ever satisfying.

This is his fifth training title with VTC (Ableton Live 6, Adobe Soundbooth CS3, QuickStart! - Apple Logic Pro 8 and Logic Pro 8). His credits include working with Choreographer Erica Dankmeyer of the Martha Graham Dance Company; surround sound composition, synthesis, recording and performance for theatrical productions of Hamlet and Romeo and Juliet under the directorship of Shelley Jensen (Will Smith Show, Friends) and audio for local TV commercials.
